Welcome to Yondover Farm House Cheese! Yes we have finally completed our cheese tasting rooms (only 30 minutes from Launceston) and open 7 days a week from 10-4. You can enjoy a free cheese tasting, a cheese platter and local wines, great coffee and homemade cake all amidst stunning views and all on the farm!
At Yondover we grow grass, milk goats and make cheese. Simplicity. If you are into local, fresh, farm gate food that showcases Tasmania -check us out!

Fresh Chevre wins Gold
The results from the 2011 Hobart Fine Food awards are in, and Yondover Farmhouse Cheese was awarded a medal for all the goat cheeses entered. Here are the results:

New Product - Plain Yoghurt
After many requests, Yondover Cheese is now selling Yoghurt. Guaranteed to be made with our milk by an award winning yoghurt maker in Launceston the yoghurt is packaged in a 500 ml tubs. It is available from our tasting rooms in Tunnel or at markets that Gina frequents. We are also using the yoghurt in the tasting rooms as a desert with fresh berries topped with butter snap crumbles.
New Cheese – Mt Arthur
Our new cheese for the month is Mt Arthur. Mt Arthur is a dry crumbly cheese. It is available at the tasting rooms and at markets that Gina frequents. It can also be ordered by email for home delivery. It will be available for a limited time only.
